Qualifications/ Requirements needed to be a Holiday Rep

Many tour operators have differing views on what qualifications and requirements are needed to become a holiday rep, however most of them do state that you should have:

• 4 GSCE's grade C or equivalent
• 6-12 months customer service experience
• Ability to work within a team
• Administration experience

If you do not have all the above, do not despair as all companies realize that the best holiday rep in the world may have none of the above.

You may be perfect for the job without any of the above qualifications. So do not let any lack that put you off.

If you try hard enough you can get a start with no qualifications.

If you have all these qualifications then you are off you will find getting an interview for a job so much easier. You just have to sell yourself as a person that the companies will want.
